About Plum Tree Barks

Plum Tree Barks is mainly run by Charlotte who has grown up with dogs her whole life; initially with Jack Russels but now spaniels and collies. Charlotte has help from husband and farmer, Howard, who provides the maintenance work – keeping the field the best it can be!
Both Charlotte and Howard love to work their dogs on the farm and also enjoy use of Plum Tree Barks with their two spaniels.

We are a friendly family and love to say Hi and get to know our field users. If you see us, give us a wave! You may even get a “Hello” from our toddler who especially loves to play with his spaniels in Plum Tree Barks or on the adjacent fields and we all know he’s the real
boss!!

An Experience Your Furry Friends Won't Forget!

Plum Tree Barks is a 1 acre field nestled in the small village of Betley, Crewe. It is part of Plum Tree Park Farm - a third generation family run farm. The Farm consists of Dairy cows, Beef Cattle and Sheep. Alongside this we grow our own crops and grains for feed for the stock all year round, making the farm more sustainable for the environment. The field which you use today was part of grazing land for sheep and the grasslands surrounding the field remains so. In spring, therefore, you may be able to enjoy the ewes and lambs who sometimes like to say hello. As part of being sustainable Plum Tree Park Farm, additionally, provides cover for wildlife and particularly in relation to Plum Tree Barks you will notice the stunning sunflowers that appear around the perimeter of the field between July and September.

What an amazing field! Our dogs loved exploring all the equipment and I was happy to find a shower tray 🚿 to hose them down after a wet soggy hour! Can’t wait to go back for more fun & adventure!

The only dog park we go, easy parking, bath/shower for our muddy 4 legged guests if required and surrounded by open fields and farm animals. When looking after other people's dogs its important for us that they can run free off the lead, and with us not being sure on there recall a secure field is perfect safe environment.
